Did you know...More than 200 New England corporations host a CTM Media Group display. These are the places where local residents plan for their weekend getaways, their summer vacations or outings. 

 Massachusetts alone accounts for more than 27 million person trips per year, which generate an annual spending of more than 11.3 billion.  Over 90% of all Boston area hotels rely on CTM Media Group for the delivery and display of travel and tourism related brochures for their guests.

Vermont's average day visitor spends $51.22 per person trip on transportation, food and beverage and retail shopping items. The average overnight visitor to Vermont spends $166 dollars per person trip on transportation, food and beverage and retail shopping items.  Of the $1.46 Billion in annual visitor expenditures shopping is the leading category at $386 million, followed closely by lodging at $346 million and restaurants/bars at nearly $345 million. The typical overnight visitor party to Vermont spends $599.84 per visit with an average party size of 2.3 persons and a stay of 2.4 nights.

New Hampshire, the Granite State offers tourists exciting vacation options year-round: great skiing in the winter, fascinating museums and other cultural experiences, fabulous summer fun in the lakes and mountains and stunning foliage vistas in the fall.   Trips in New Hampshire for recreational and business during 2005 totaled 33.4 million (39% in summer; 23% in fall; 19% in winter; and 19% in spring). Direct spending in New Hampshire by visitors in 2005 reached $4.136 billion. Traveler spending in 2005 supported 66,700 direct full-time and part-time jobs. The top three origins of overnight international visitors to New Hampshire in FY2001 were from (a) Canada - 294,000, (b) the United Kingdom - 51,200, and (c) Germany - 20,700.
